San Francesco d’Assisi
Cari fratelli e sorelle,
in una recente catechesi, ho già illustrato il ruolo provvidenziale che l’Ordine dei Frati Minori e l’Ordine dei Frati Predicatori, fondati rispettivamente da san Francesco d’Assisi e da san Domenico da Guzman, ebbero nel rinnovamento della Chiesa del loro tempo. Oggi vorrei presentarvi la figura di Francesco, un autentico “gigante” della santità, che continua ad affascinare moltissime persone di ogni età e di ogni religione.
