Cari fratelli e sorelle!
Al termine di questa solenne Celebrazione eucaristica, ringrazio ancora una volta il Signore per avermi dato la gioia di compiere questa visita pastorale alla vostra comunità diocesana. Sono venuto tra voi per incoraggiarvi e per confermarvi nella fedeltà a Cristo, come ben indica anche il tema che avete scelto: “Conferma i tuoi fratelli” (Lc 22,31). Queste parole Gesù le ha rivolte all’apostolo Pietro durante l’Ultima Cena, affidandogli il compito di essere qui in terra Pastore di tutta la sua Chiesa.
